Typically, if we ask you to mark your calendar, it’s because of a sales event or the debut of a new Porsche car. This time we’re asking you to set time aside for a good cause. Porsche Nashua is a proud sponsor of the Designer Showhouse at the historic Frank E. Anderson House, benefiting Home Health & Hospice Care’s Community Hospice House.

The Frank E. Anderson House is a marvel unto itself. Built in 1906, it’s a prime example of Beaux Arts architecture and is beloved by locals for its heritage as much as its distinctive stone and ironwork.

The home, which is now on the National Register of Historic Places, has changed hands many times over the years, passing from Anderson to Governor Francis P. Murphy, then to the  Manchester Convent of the Sisters of Mercy and Mount Saint Mary Academy.

Now in the loving care of Thomas More College of Liberal Arts, the home will lend its long history to a good cause: raising funds so that patients without financial resources can access hospice care and live out their final days with dignity.

Many local businesses and organizations are teaming up to make this a reality. Genella McDonald, ASID, president of Stibler Associates, LLC, in Bedford, NH, is the Design Coordinator, and the exhibit’s featured interior designers were chosen from among local professionals on a juried basis.

There will be some surprises there — including some of the new models normally found at our Nashua Porsche dealership. They’re not 112 years old, but we think these modern classics will hold their own among the stately Beaux-Arts splendor and the interior design talents displayed by local professionals.

You can purchase tickets online for the August 2nd-31st event. If you’d like to know more about our sponsorship of the event or the many other ways we give back to the communities we serve, feel free to visit Porsche Nashua at 170 Main Dunstable Road.
