The 2016 Porsche Panamera 4 Series was a long time coming. While we first saw the Panamera for the 2009 model year at Porsche of Nashua, the car had actually started out life as a concept car (the Porsche 989) as far back as 1988. As it turns out, good things come to those who wait. When the Panamera debuted 20 years after that first concept car, we knew Porsche was onto something. Subsequent model years have refined what was already a good design, and the 2016 Panamera looks to be their best yet.

The Porsche Panamera comes in multiple trim levels. The Panamera 4 series is available as the base Panamera 4, the Panamera 4S, and the Panamera 4S Executive. The Panamera 4 comes with a standard option package that would be the envy of many other carmakers. Its 310 hp direct-injected 3.6 liter V6 engine tops out at 159.7 miles per hour, going from zero to sixty in 5.8 seconds. Its transmission is a smooth-shifting Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) 7-speed. Your drive, and the equally-important 60-0, are smooth thanks to Porsche Stability Management (PSM) with electronically-assisted ABS, and engine drag torque control (MSR).

Several upgrade options are available on the Panamera 4. These include a Burmester® or Bose® audio packages, electronic logbook, 6-Disc CD/DVD Changer, Porsche Rear Seat Entertainment, and Porsche Car Connect, along with a host of instrument, body and cabin upgrades that truly customize your Porsche experience.

If your last ride in a Porsche was in a Boxster, Cayman, or Porsche 911, it’s time to test-drive the 2016 Porsche Panamera 4 at Porsche of Nashua. It’s got the Porsche performance and styling you want to keep to yourself because it fits you like a glove, but in a package that’s large and luxurious enough to fit the family.
